The British Stand Up Paddle Association is an nationwide organisation run by paddle boarders for paddle boarders.
Its objective is to promote and protect the sport of paddle boarding throughout the UK by providing a framework for coaching and developing instructors, providing safe entry routes to the sport and encouraging club activities.
just SUP uk was has been a member of BSUPA since the company was established in 2020 and
became a registered BSUPA School in 2022.
just SUP uk is proud to be a British Canoeing Delivery Partner.
British Canoeing is now the NGB (National Governing Body) for stand up paddle boarding in England.
BC Delivery Partners have agreed to and engaged with a charter committing them to deliver high standards of operation and safety and to encourage development and learning. Being A British Canoeing Delivery partner gives customers confidence that the provision of activities will be delivered to a high standard.
Paddly is a not-for-profit platform for the SUP, canoe & kayak communities. It's a great place to find new locations to paddle, schools and hire centres plus what facilities are available there.
In addition, you can join local paddle communities or clubs and find reviews on locations and paddle operators like us. And it's global!
Go Paddling is part of British Canoeing and has one goal - to get as many people enjoying paddle sports as possible. They have over 25,000 launch sites for SUPS, kayaks & canoes and help people find reputable paddle sport providers. They also have a wealth of useful information covering top tips and staying safe.
Planet Patrol is a leading environmental non-profit organisation that is redefining what can be achieved through collective action and digital technology.
just SUP uk is proud to partner with Planet Patrol to run free paddle boarding litter picks to help protect our waterways. No experience is needed to participate - just sign up on the Planet Patrol website and download the free Planet Patrol app so you can record your findings.
The Planet Patrol app brings together like-minded people, who are passionate about protecting our planet, to gather data on issues anytime and anywhere all over the world, helping to build powerful evidence that would otherwise be impossible to capture.

The Environment Agency is a public body that works to create better places for people and wildlife, and support sustainable development. They also manage the river levels, provide flood-warning services and build flood defences. In addition the EA also monitors the flow on the river and issues Yellow & Red board safety warnings.
If you use the river (Thames) to SUP, row, kayak/canoe or use any type of pleasure boat you should have a license from the EA. Other waterways may also require you to have a license - see Go Paddling for more details.
All of just SUP uk boards and kayaks have licenses for use on the Thames.
